About Us


Founded in 1972, Allen Lawrence & Associates, Inc. (AL&A) has the distinct advantage of active participation by its principals. We have grown to be one of the largest independently owned insurance brokerage and employee benefits consulting firms in California.

Our agency is a leader in commercial insurance, surety, employee benefits and services for industry segments such as transportation, healthcare, manufacturing, construction, real estate, hi-tech, food products , and entertainment. We provide an unusual breadth of property, casualty and risk management services, including underwriting, loss control, occupational safety & health engineering and risk- and claims-management services.

Additionally, we offer custom-designed, proprietary alternative risk insurance programs to meet the needs of associated industry members and other classes of business.
